Rolling A “J” Series 2

These days photos are heavily processed to their limits, making  them look like a digitized image rather than a photograph. Photographers have strayed away from the simplicity of photography since the digital camera’s birth in 1975. Today digital image technology has changed the industry standards from movies to photography by having the capability of making everything you see extremely sharp and life like. In spite of these capabilities, I feel that due to it’s rapid advancements, the technology is beginning to cause a disconnect from what we see. The connection between observer and artist is sometimes forgotten, for example movies aren’t as memorable, music not as heartfelt, and photographs are flat instead of being textured.
